Who we are

GroundTruth is operated by Fergie Liang dba Design4Venture. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit groundtruth.design4venture.com or join our waitlist.

What we collect

We currently collect only one type of personal information: your email address, submitted voluntarily when you join our waitlist.

We also collect standard web analytics data automatically when you visit our site, which may include your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This data is aggregated and not linked to your identity.

How we use your information

We use your email address to:

• Notify you when GroundTruth launches or becomes available
• Send occasional product updates, if you have not unsubscribed

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Email service provider

We use MailerLite to manage our waitlist and send emails. When you submit your email, it is stored in MailerLite's systems. MailerLite is subject to its own privacy policy, available at mailerlite.com. We do not share any information beyond your email address with MailerLite.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our site may use a single session cookie for basic functionality. We do not use cookies to build a profile of you or share data with advertisers.

Data retention

We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. We will remove your email within 30 days of your request.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

GroundTruth is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify waitlist members via email.
